Ingredients
- 300 g cooked white rice
- 150 g ground beef
- 50 g yellow pickled radish cubes
- 2 tbsp dried seaweed flakes
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp Sichuan pepper powder
- 1 tsp chicken bouillon or Dashi-dak
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tbsp salad dressing or mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp sesame seeds
- 1 tbsp cooking oil
Instructions
- 1Pour oil into the pan

Pour cooking oil into a cold non-stick frying pan to prepare for cooking the ground beef filling.
Tip: Start with cold oil in the pan to prevent the beef from sticking and to ensure even heating. - 2Add ground beef

Transfer raw ground beef from a white plate directly into the prepared pan with oil.
- 3Stir-fry the beef

Use a pink spatula to break apart and stir-fry the ground beef in the pan until it begins to change color.
Tip: Break up any large clumps of beef so the meat browns evenly. - 4Season the beef

Add soy sauce and seasonings such as Sichuan pepper powder, chicken bouillon or Dashi-dak to the stir-fried beef.
Tip: Add seasonings gradually to taste, ensuring the meat absorbs the savory flavors. - 5Add cumin powder

Sprinkle cumin powder over the seasoned ground beef, mix thoroughly, then remove from heat and set aside.
Tip: Cumin adds an aromatic warmth; stir it in quickly at the end so it doesnt burn. - 6Assemble ingredients

Combine the cooked rice, chopped pickled radish cubes, dried seaweed, and the prepared ground beef together in the pan.
Tip: Make sure all components are ready within arms reach for smooth assembly. - 7Drizzle salad dressing

Drizzle a little salad dressing evenly across the rice, cooked ground beef, and pickled radish mixture in the pan to add a creamy texture and rich flavor.
Tip: Make sure to zigzag the dressing lightly so it distributes well when mixing. - 8Sprinkle sesame seeds

Sprinkle a generous amount of sesame seeds all over the ingredients inside the pan to enhance the aroma and visual appeal of the rice balls.
Tip: Toast the sesame seeds lightly beforehand for an even richer nutty flavor. - 9Shape into rice balls

Spray a little oil on your hands while wearing clear gloves, then thoroughly mix and firmly shape the seasoned rice mixture into round rice balls.
Tip: Spraying oil on gloves prevents the sticky rice from clinging to your hands during shaping.
